Civil Engineering is the most primitive branch in the field of engineering and is backbone of all engineering. The role of Civil Engineering is surveying, design and its application in construction and erection work of building, bridges, dams and many others. Presently Environmental engineering and Earthquake engineering are vital parts of Civil Engineering.

The KEC started undergraduate course in Civil engineering in the year 2009. The department has highly qualified and experience faculty members in Civil Engineering to cater the need of technical knowledge to the students. It has well equipped laboratories. The objective of Civil Engineering department is to instill confidents within students to have sound technical knowledge in the field of application to Civil Engineering and help them to deliver expertise of international standards. This department has undertaken consultancy and project work of various projects.
